Association for Corporate Growth® (ACG) awards Bobby Blumenfeld, Executive Director of ACG New York, the President’s Award for Excellence.

CHICAGO, (May 15, 2019) – Association for Corporate Growth® (ACG), a global organization focused on driving middle-market growth, continued its annual recognition of its exemplary chapters and executives.

ACG applauded three of its chapters, and additionally awarded Bobby Blumenfeld, Executive Director of ACG New York, the President’s Award for Excellence at its annual conference, InterGrowth®.

The Chapter of the Year Award recognizes overall achievement and excellence among ACG chapters and is based on scoring in three areas: self-assessment, benchmark data and ACG member engagement.

“We’re proud of our chapters, especially ACG Tennessee, ACG Western Michigan and ACG Philadelphia, for their steadfast commitment to delivering valuable programming and energetic networking opportunities,” said Angela MacPhee, chair, ACG Global Board of Directors, and partner, Baker Tilly.

The awards are presented in three categories based on a chapter’s membership size, which include: small chapter up to 150, mid-size chapter of 151 to 399; and large chapter of 400 or more members.

The ACG’s President’s Award for Excellence is presented annually to a chapter executive. It is the highest honor that ACG presents to a chapter executive and was established to recognize an executive’s long-term dedication to the association, coupled with outstanding performance as an association professional.

In accepting the award Blumenfeld said, “The magic of ACG is in its diverse membership that represents the middle market so well. It is through the valuable relationships created here that deals are sourced and closed.”
