AIAC ACQUIRES KI USA, WITH PRODUCTION SITES IN THE US AND MEXICO

November 21, 2024 - Berea, Kentucky  An affiliate of American Industrial Acquisition Corporation (AIAC) has acquired KI USA Corporation from Keiaisha Co., Ltd., an automotive components manufacturer based in Japan. KI USA Corporation specializes in medium-sized metal stamped and welded assemblies with electrodeposition coating.  The company directly serves major North American OEM customers which include Nissan and Volkswagen, as well as Tier 1 suppliers to Toyota, Honda, Subaru, Mazda, and Ford.

The company’s Berea, Kentucky facility combines advanced metal stamping, welding, and electrodeposition processes under one roof, delivering cost-competitive and high-quality critical automotive components.  The acquisition also includes KI USA Corporation’s subsidiary in Irapuato, Guanajuato, Mexico, which supplies products to customers in Mexico.  KI USA produces key parts for internal combustion, hybrid and electric vehicles.  Its operations include extensive automated equipment, including programable robotic welders and parts handlers.
