AIAC’s D2A ACQUIRES SFGP FROM SONEPAR FRANCE

Paris, 29, February 2024 - AIAC’s affiliate, D2A Group (www.d2asia.asia), an international multi-channel distribution network of technical products and services, has announced that it has reached an agreement to acquire SFGP Sigmadis-Cadelec (www.sfgp-sigmadis-cadelec.fr), the French consumer distribution subsidiary of Sonepar (www.sonepar.com), the world’s leading global distributor of electrical products, systems, and related services.
SFGP is the French market leader in distributing electrical and home automation products to small, medium and large DIY stores. Over 2,000 retail outlets benefit from SFGP's multi-brand offering, based on strong partnerships with the world's leading electrical equipment manufacturers. This includes more than 7,000 product references in a wide range of categories: electrical equipment, lighting, fittings, wires and cables, home automation, ducts, heating, batteries, and communication-security systems.
With this important acquisition, AIAC companies now have 42 manufacturing or distribution sites in France. These companies serve every significant corporation and all end consumers within the country.
Upon the completion of this acquisition transaction, L. M.
